A little about me and my passion for photography…
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My dad was a wedding photographer and introduced me to the craft. Some of my fondest memories are of spending time with him in his darkroom, where he patiently guided me through every step of the process to create magic.
The red glow of the darkroom light, the scent of developing chemicals, the way the image would slowly materialize in the trays—it all left an imprint on me. Years later, I took over that darkroom and began crafting my own magic. Today, my darkroom has been replaced with a computer, and the chemicals are swapped for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Though my dad no longer shoots, he remains my biggest cheerleader.
In 2005, after years of dreaming, Andie Kallinger Photography was born. I’m a wife and a proud mom of two boys who are living their best lives in college, along with two Bernedoodles, Maverick and Goose.
When I’m not behind the camera, I love to travel, shop, and spend time with my ride-or-die girlfriends. I’m a talker, but also a great listener. Oh, and I’m a sneakerhead—because really, you can never have too many pairs, and they go with everything!
